The Best Homemade Makeup Remover

Equipment

  • Bottle glass or reusable plastic

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup witch hazel 
  • 1/4 cup fractionated coconut oil or your preferred oil, like jojoba or sweet almond

Instructions

  • Combine the witch hazel and oil in a small jar or dark amber glass bottle.
  • Shake well to combine the ingredients.
  • To use, shake the bottle, saturate a cotton pad with the mixture, and gently wipe away your makeup.
  • Rinse your face with water and pat it dry.

Notes

Store your homemade makeup remover in a drawer or cabinet, preferably in a dark bottle. Since it doesn’t use preservatives, it’s best to make small batches and use within a few months.
